About The Project

Witney Dental Practice provides a full range of dental services to the thriving market town of Witney. Supported by the Oxford Health Charity, a virtual Sky Ceiling was installed to benefit the wellbeing of patients undergoing dental treatment.

With real medical validation, the installation features high-quality images that replicate the look of the real sky, transforming the experience for patients and staff. The benefits to dental patients at the clinic include a reduction of stress and anxiety, increased alertness for medical staff and a more positive all-round experience.

Challenges And Objectives

The contract needed to be completed within a day, with little disruption to the day-to-day activities to the dental team or the appointment list. The installation included direct fitting above the procedure chair, which features expensive equipment and lighting.

Result

With support for the installation from the team at Sky Inside, the contract was completed in less than a day, within budget and with no damage of necessary equipment and interior features. Sky Inside worked directly with the clinic to ensure that the daily appointment list remained uninterrupted.

Stake holders

The installation was supported by the Oxford Health Charity (OHC), which supports and enhances the experience of patients, carers, families and staff involved with the services of Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

The project was achieved with close communication with the dental practice, who helped make the project a success.
