March 2021 Announcements

Contract Awards

Following on from the announcements last week, including that Arrowe Park ITU will be receiving six circadian systems, Eastbourne District General Hospital will also receive an ultra-large single 1800×1800 lighting unit for its MRI services.

Royal Stoke University Hospital is currently refurbishing two of its linac bunkers and will be installing two ultra-large single Living Skies to them. With this new order, our Living Skies will be in all linac suites at the hospital’s radiotherapy cancer unit. We would like to thank the UHNM Charity for its continuous support.

Guy’s And St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust

The images below show the recent completion of our systems within Guy’s and St Thomas’ gynaecology outpatients clinic. These are part of a five-system installation for the trust, with large-format units installed within the waiting area and procedure rooms.

The systems were all installed in just one day, without disruption for the department or staff activity. All credit goes to the staff and charity for funding the project, and for using the preferred option of Sky Inside UK and utilising locally sourced materials along with our qualified installer teams.

World Delirium Awareness Day 2021

This year’s World Delirium Awareness Day is taking place on 17 March. Leading up to the event, we’ll be posting information on our socials of how our sky ceilings help to reduce the effects of delirium in patients.

For information on World Delirium Awareness Day, you can see the International Federation of Delirium Societies’ website, which shares useful details and advice.

For more information for any of the above, please get in touch. Or to see real-life case studies, head to What our clients say.
